![]() ![]() With the image of the sim highlighted, left-click that word. On the right hand section of that box is the blue word " Use". Single left-click the image of the sim you want to extract. Scroll down until you find the sim you want to extract (you can jump to the start of a letter by pressing it on your keyboard). On the left is a column of sim image thumbnails, sorted alphabetically by first name. This time go Neighbourhoods, Sim Surgery. When it's loaded, go back up to the tools menu. There's a little green load progress bar at the bottom left of screen which you can watch while you attempt patience =P The program is loading every single character file in that neighbourhood, complete with genetics, relationships, memories & skills etc etc etc. There will be a pop up to select which neighbourhood you want to open, select the one that the sim you want to extract is in. In the top bar menu, select Tools, Neighbourhood & then Neighbourhood Browser. You can get that here, or alternatively, you should be able to select it in your Windows Update choices. In order to run SimPE, you will need to have Mircosoft's. This tutorial shows how to package a sim that is born in game & how to correctly package it, as well as how to include its custom content should you wish to.įirst of all, you need SimPE. This is not good they cause issues in the games they get installed into.īody Shop makes the packaging process take a bit longer, but it means it that all the necessary data is embedded with the shared Sim. I've noticed there have been a few people sharing. But in order to extract or package a sim, you first need to know how to do it in a way that wont create issues for someone else's game when it's installed. And then installing what we download from others into our games to create stories, or play challenges with. Of course, this may have unwanted effects on everyone's wants and fears, as the Knowledge Sims start wanting themselves and others to become vampires, while the others fear it, and want to buy the cure potion.Well we all know the pixel_trade community is all about sharing sims that its members have either created or bred in game. The change back to human removed all vampire attributes including the teeth. I used the College Adjuster to change each Sim into a vampire and back again. I did finally find a solution for "me" and "male-me", though I don't know if it will be permanant. So, making this change on a Sim already in game, or a Sim you're making in CAS, isn't as straightforward. Also, neither came up as part of the Change Appearance option. Well, the Werewolf teeth came up (and were labeled) in CAS in Debug Mode, but I did not see the Vampire teeth, even in that mode. Unfortunately, these options do not come up in game. Removing or giving werewolf fangs has the same procedure as the vamp ones: simply select or deselect.Īnother thing you might do to prevent is is, if you want to remove or change your Sim's glasses, do so through the Remove All button, rather than simply deselecting the current glasses individually, or selecting another pair. Yup, this Cassie extract has 'em! But now I know how to remove them.įor Werewolf fangs, the mannequin looks the same, but has the Pets symbol in the corner. Or, if you want fangs on this Sim, select it. ![]() Make sure it is not selected, and deselect if necessary. In mine it was on the third panel from the back. Scroll through them until you see a mannequin picture with nothing on it, with the Nightlife symbol in the corner. To prevent your extract from having fangs, pull him/her up in Body Shop, and select the Glasses/Accessories options. ![]() I don't know whether or not it happens when you put glasses onto a Sim in Body Shop, as both Cassandra and "I" already had glasses when extracted. Due to some glitch, sometimes one of these will be selected by mistake, when you Body-Shop a Sim with glasses. However, since they are not labeled, and the Sim and mannequin both have their mouths closed, you can't tell what they are if you don't know. It turns out that Body Shop has vampire and werewolf teeth among the glasses/accessories. Since so many here enjoy remaking Sims from extracts, I thought I'd share it with you guys too. I did, however, find out how it happened, so I can prevent it on future Sims I make/remake-or even cause it if I so choose. I did find a few with that problem, as well as some vampire-fang CC, but no solutions. I spent the better part of Thursday night searching for a solution to this. It's fine in the Halloween Simself Quest hood, where they're all becoming Creatures anyway, but I don't want it for my Magnet Hood Simself. I pretty much had, too, until I saw that my Simself had the same affliction, as did her clone. I suspect most of you have forgotten this old thread about Cassandra Goth having vampire fangs.
